School records - is this usual?

Have finally received copy of school records and found daily logs by all the staff that records ds's behaviour. There is nothing positive there and some staff make some really nasty comments showing that they don't understand his condition at all. He had been part-time for quite a while and the notes began when he returned full-time. He has now been permanently excluded for behaviour due to his condition so I'm wondering if they were evidence gathering and planning to get rid anyway.

As miserable as that sounds, and as angry as it must make you, that file will be useful for getting provision now. Is the exclusion in writing?

Hi Star. Yes,all in writing but hurriedly withdrawn before we could appeal as a new school was named. Funnily enough, some important paperwork that had to have been there was missing from the bundle.
