bundle over 1000 pages long and have no idea what i should be doing with it - just seems so much at the moment. i have spent the last 4 days photocopying it for all of our witnesses which has been a mammoth task on my little printer but thankfully its all done.

i want specialist - they want to name yet another twice the size mainstream school with a unit but he will never step foot in the unit. i know i need to blow the mainstream out of the water but i know the head will turn up and say everything the tribunal want to hear - im scared they are just going to beleive her. the LA submitted no evidence except an OT report which agrees with ours and as far as I am aware they are only calling the head - the LA ed psych is on bereavement leave at the moment so unclear if he is attending, no one from the LA attending and they have a barrister. the cost difference in schools is substantial - starting to panic that i cannot win this but then think of course i can as the evidence is overwhelming.

I know i should be doing something but do not know what. waiting for the working document to come back - they have until weds at 5pm and then they have until 5pm on friday to confirm their witnesses - got an awful feeling that there is still a dirty trick or two to be played

What should you be doing?

Going to bed at a decent time!!!!

Then. Make a list of the most important points. Tag the evidence in your bundle so you can find them easily.

Ask the HT of the school some questions, but don't ask ANY questions you don't already know the answer to. You are not on a fact-finding mission but an illustrative mission.

If you don't know the answers to your questions then try to find them out now, before the tribunal.

So, you can ask. 'What type of placement, does Ofsted name you as?' 'Do you have any visiting Autism Outreach people who you can honestly state you have seen their QTS qualification?' '

yes i am off to bed now - been out at a meeting tonight hence why im up late - very good questions star - particulary like the one about autism outreach as i know the answer to that one Smile also LA said in meeting on friday he cannot have access to autism outreach as he will be in a specialist placement which they are paying for so wontpay for autism outreach again - its a mainstream school as per their ofsted report Smile
