Well DS will be getting help for anxiety caused by the lack of structure in the classroom, sensory issues, issues with gross motor skills and lack of motor skill planning, fine motor skills delay impacting use of hand tools of any kind, demand avoidance and social /emotional skills development on top of the existing academic help he already gets if the recomendations in the Ed Psyche report is implemented (I know its a big IF)
Also advised Camhs referral for impulsivity and attention issues and SEN statement.

Blimey!

A bit of a shock, an eye opener, and my heart goes out to DS as life must be so hard to fathom and deal with. We knew had it hard, but had no idea how hard....

Feel relieved that this is something real and not just us being rubbish at instilling good behaviour....but saddening too. Poor little man has so many challenges that most of us cannot 'see' or comprehend.

starting on the road to diagnosis and statementing...I am sure I'll have lots of questions...so glad this forum is here.

Hello Tickle, I very occasionally post on here, lurk a lot and learn more, it is a great place for advice and support. I hope your ds gets the support he needs.
