OT input and IEPs - would anyone mind sharing their dc's targets?

Ds is 10, has AS, dyspraxia, severe SPD, etc. School finally included OT in his IEP (after many requests) and all they have done is "to be able to recognise his sensory needs". And this was done in conjunction with the OT

For the next IEP the OT has basically said more of the same . Nothing has worked, and school knows this.

Can any helpful people share your SMART targets with me? I know targets are individual, but they would give me an idea of where to go

Hitherto the CT and SENCO have drawn up IEPs by themselves and they've never been reviewed. NO MORE. I'm determined the last lot of outcomes are reviewed and I want the next lot to be SMART.

Please help.

Target and expected outcomes:
To develop fine motor skills and manipulation using programmes devised by OT
Support strategies - list of activities from OT - handwriting, cutting skills, hand strengthening activities, positional activities (sitting upright etc) etc
Provider: School and OT - school to provide each morning in school 20 minutes
Outcome to be assessed by OT in report at end of current SI programme.
DS also has 2 other targets - Sensory Integration programme and building core strength. Both have pretty much been farmed out to OT and physio, but the school has a disability base and as such, we have OT and physio input available in school.
Review March 13
There is nothing in it re sensory needs. Most of this has been changes made to environment and not really a learning target.
Our school is good on the physical side of things, less so on the PSHE side of things. They have autism outreach in regularly, but they only advise on those with dx. We also have a trained counsellor and child psychologist, but again, deals with children who have been dx with clear PSE difficulties/needs.

Thanks aunt evil - that sounds a bit better than mine . I'm not sure what I was expecting, but perhaps something like "to increase number of words written in a minute from 2 to 3".

Hopefully some more people will come along.

To follow a particular hand writing programme, X minutes daily, outcome for 80% of words to be legible

To follow touch typing prog (bbc dance mat is free). As above

To practice throwing and catching a ball from 2 metres with a andividual

To be able to write the date and underline it without prompting on his work

Icedcake, that's exactly how it should be.
Specific and measurable.

If it isn't, how on can anyone know if the intervention is making any difference?
