Hello.
I don't know what to write. So apologies if this is disjointed in anyway.

Youngest is 3.9.

I have suspected he is in the autistic spectrum for a while. Spoke to his nursery yesterday. His key worker is the Senco. She voiced concerns. Told me to go to the gp & get a referral to a paediatrician. So went this morning & he readily referred.

He's got lots of "traits".

Anyway, for now I just need to get this out.

He is a wonderful boy. He is unique.

I know his problems are not serious, like so many children on this forum.

But I feel weird. I don't know. Numb? Sorry, feel free to shout at me.

Thanks for reading.

Numb is pretty normal, even if you're already expecting it.

Us parents of kids with ASD are in the rather loud majority here (sometimes I feel sorry for parents who have other conditions to deal with, because of that. but we all have a lot of battles in common). You're definitely not alone, here, though, so feel free to ask all the questions you need.

The thread isn't showing, I thought it had been removed!

I'm not sure what I want to know yet.

I just feel weird that I was right iyswim.

I'm hoping he will get extra help when he starts school in September. Oh & that he will toilet train before September as well!

Thanks ouryve.

The loo thread wasn'tme, but I got my name inspiration from there! Ido know a lot about unblocking loos though. Sigh.

Toddler has stripped off to nappy. He doesn't like tops. And without a top, he won't wear bottoms.

Blimey. Just got a phone call. Got an appointment for him on April 2nd. Checked the calendar & dh is off that week. So that's good.

I took him to nursery early today. He still cried when I left, but at least he wasn't upset at all the noise when all the children are changing their shoes at the same time.

He got hysterical last night at teeth brushing. We've no idea what we did wrong.

I'm not familiar with the abbreviations on some of the other threads. Could someone give me almost of them & what they are if that's ok. Feel a bit ignorant.

Thanks for reading.
