swimming with a colostomy

DD 7 has had a colostomy since October she does have SLD but loves swimming and is missing out on school swimming sessions. Have trawled internet to find suitable costume Have any of you mums found anything?

You've probably already thought of the Stoma Association.
Does dd have a stoma care nurse?

Dh manages with boxer type standard swimming shorts so sorry no experience of little girls.

There is an ostomy belt that will cover the stoma and appliance and is waterproof to avoid leaks. We used the same thing over Bee's central line, and it was excellent.

I understand missing the water - Bee loves it!
