I need to find out how to remove ASD son from school swimming lessons. He is having sensory issues. Can I just write a letter saying I withdraw permission for him to travel on the bus and take part.

Thanks

Thanks, DS is 11 and we have endured 6 years of swimming lessons, with no progress. He hates it with a passion!!

Our area has Additional Support swimming lessons, may be worth a google? Can't rate them highly enough, 1:1 lesson with an instructor in the water or 1:4 with an instructor outside. I think you're right to withdraw him from school lessons but it's worth trying an alternative approach if you can find one?
