What is ASAS panel?

I got dds report of peadiatrician main he sums up dd to have significant speech and language delay, communication difficulties, sensory behaviour issues, poor social interaction and routine bound behaviour. He has asked for her to see CAHMS as part of ASAS panel protocol. He also says he wants her assessed by the autism spectrum assessment panel.

My question is what is ASAS panel?

ASAS is what is written there - Autism Spectrum Assessment Panel....they call it the ASD pathway in our area. a collection of speech therapists, OT and Comm ped who decide what to do next in terms of assessment with your child
