Was denied Smile

So tribunal will go ahead as planned. We have to work together to get this working document sorted out which means entering the same room as the LA - need my body armour for that one!

the LA case is that my school cannot meet his needs (it's an independent asd school) as the children there are all complex and challenging and my son isn't. Which is a load of hogwash as the reports all clearly state how complex he is and the school would never agree to accept him if they couldn't meet his needs. I have to get the school by Friday to confirm his place, peer group etc - school onto it now.

My school cost is 70k - the LA one 20k. Came clear that the LA solicitor has objected in writing about my application but I didn't get to see this which is a concern.

The judge had words with the LA solicitor on a few matters such as how they are moaning about the salt report. Judge told them tough - they had the opportunity to get one but they chose not to.

The LA now not calling the ed psych or the OT but may call the head of rubbish school who will be their only witness!

LA solicitor again tried to ask if she could watch - again I said no and judge told her no as well. She then tried to argue she could mediate for us with the LA ??? The answer is still no - think that narked her but I refuse to be party to training someone who could screw another family over - judge also said that as parents we do not get the opportunity to watch a tribunal and a tribunal is stressful for parents as they have so much invested in it.

This all sounds good. Judge prepared to rule against LA is definitely a good sign. Is their witness the head of the school that couldn't manage him? If so it's hard to see how that witness is going to help their case!

She is the head of the school where he went before and lasted 6 weeks before we removed him. She has already out in writing that he will be in the mainstream full time with a TA which he can't cope with now plus her school is twice the size. She is potentially the only witness. Would love to see her squirm after what she out him through before and then had the cheek to say he 'flourished' at her school. It's u fortunate then that my bundle included all the letters from when he was at her school before asking why she did nothing to help him.

I now need to focus on blowing her school out of the water which I think I can do easily as it has no OT or salt and the school is twice the size of the current school which cannot meet his needs now so a bigger school is destined to fail

Phew. No banking on anything but no reason not to be positve either.

You're doing brilliantly. It's bloody stressful but you're nearly there.

You are doing a great job. I am really glad the judge was so tough about it all.

Good news Grin. You're nearly over the final hurdle.
