we took our boys to legoland during the easter break and what an excellent place it is the the queues were horrendous but after losing ds1 (he has as) for the tenth time went to guest services where they gave him a red stamp and ds2 hubby and myself a black stamp and we didnt have to queue again went staight on every ride it a service available to anyone with dx of asd because of the difficulties of not understanding the concept of queueing we had a wonderful time once ds1 calmed down from the excitement of having his aspergers badge and stopped showing everyone! does anyone know if any other theme parks offer this facility

Thanks for posting this! Sorry, the only other place I've heard does this is Eurodisney (not exactly a short trip out....).

Thorpe park and Chessington offer the same facility too

WOW...i can finally do legoland without the fear of ds2 going off to heathrow to look at the planes..im planning on going in the summer, i'll let you know if theyre still doing it.
(ps. did they just take your word for it or was it obvious there was a problem??)

they took our word for it but generally you need to take some proof of diagnosis with you have a great time i know we will definatly go again it was wonderful to be somewhere where they actually have thought about our kids needs mind you some people who had been queueing for ages and had to watch us go before them got a bit stroppy but such is life
