DS is not a happy chap today because he's convinced somebody's stolen his snowman !
He's not understanding the rain washing it away lol and he wants him back lol.
:) his way of thinking really does make my heart melt (just like poor old frosty) lol

Has he watched The Snowman on TV? It might help explain things.

DS2 seems happy that the world is returning to the one he thought he lived in. We've been under a blanket of snow for a fortnight, now. This is the first year he's not screamed at the back yard because it looks wrong, covered with snow.

ds has really enjoyed the snow, and keeps saying , 'but I don't want it to melt!?' He remains un convinced that I can't actually change things and make it snow again

He has loved snowballs, (we now have to work on the social contexts inwhich snow balls are acceptable )

LOL - I hope he doesn't think it's like that snowman on the ad and that somewhere there is a snowwoman pining for him?
All the DSs wanted to know was if they could play football again (looks out of window to see hail stones and rain)

DS watched me pull the plug out of the sink earlier and watched the water drain away - he said "it's gone" then opened the cupboard underneath to look for it!!

My LO has been exactly the same!! we had to say that "Dandy" the snowman has gone to live with father Xmas, that made her feel better! She also asked if it was Spring time now!! So sweet.

DS cried. Its the first year he enjoyed the snow and he's been crying on and off all day that its gone.
