DD has epilepsy and can have seizures during the night which is why we use 3 monitors on her at night. We also have her in a cot bed as we need to make sure she is safe.

Our problem is she is now trying to climb out of the bed and it will only be a matter of time before she figures it out or has a nasty accident.

Does anyone know how much a standard bed one would cost and how you go about funding for one as I read they are super expensive.

any suggestions welcome and thanks for reading

www.safespaces.co.uk/

These are very safe - completed soft inside and some people have had them funded on safety grounds (They last longterm basically)

Also co tact Fledings who have developed and made various types if beds for kids with SNs. Suggest you phone them to discuss, they are wonderful and very helpful. I'm sure they'd give you some advice on funding if you need it
