Making a confession ds didnt go in he also has a cold. I couldn't face dds usual school run meltdown while trying to not fall on the snow. Dd2 is very ill and I didnt want to take her out. Im joining you as a bad mother Blush.

You feel guilty (I hang my head in shame) My 2 have been off since last Tuesday having arrived home at 10.00pm. They travel 26 miles inland to school and I then made decision to keep them at home until weather improves. Spoke to Head and he felt it was sensible as we live on the coast.

So like you I AM a bad mum who cares Grin

We are ready to go tomorrow but when all said and and done they are our responsibility and if roads are grotty they will not be going

DS1 was off on friday because I couldn't get DS2's wheelchair through the snow (DS2 is still part time and doesn't do fridays). DS1 had a temp on sunday and has still got a cold so kept him off yesterday. DS2 spends most of his time trying to keep up with DS1 and when he saw DS1 lazing on the sofa he gave this huge sigh of relief and snuggled up with him. I didn't have the heart to send him in anyway and he's only 4. Took DS1 to school today (DS2 doesn't do tuesdays) and half the class was missing even though snow had melted. Heavy snowfall on our way home this afternoon and I expect I'll keep them both off tomorrow (links arms with other bad mothers).
