School closed for snow!

Boo, mine are all back at school today now they are home with me, my ex got all the fun.

School closed today. One delighted! One throwing tantrum! Can't win!

One very happy Dd3

School closed here ds2 happy, dd not impressed at not being able to go to nursery and ds1 totally unable to cope.

We found out last night via a text from the school and prepared him, but he'd forgotten by this morning and we had to go through the upset all over again.

To him, Monday is a school day and that's where he should be. Had similar problems on Friday when we were asked to collect them early.

We have done school at home, worked out what would normally happen on a Monday and tried to recreate it. Both boys (asd and nt) very happy :-)

School at home is just not right for DS2! But no school was very much appreciated. It's now that the snow is melting and he has to go back that I'm getting tears.

Dd3 is back in tomorrow, she is gutted but I feel quite relieved.

She is hard work at home atm.
