My ds was diagnosed with ADHD just before Christmas and I have been reading about various supplements such as fish oil etc that some people say help. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to recommended brands and doseages etc? Thanks.

We use vegepa (for omega supplements, available on amazon) we also give a multi vitamin that contains all the b vitamins and give the osteocare magnesium, zinc and calcium supplement.

I know you didn't ask about diet but we have tried really hard to cut out processed foods and general junk food (still have treats)

Thank you - do you find that they help? We are looking in to diet as well but at the moment he appears to have lost his appetite so don't want to push that too far. He doesn't have the worst diet in the world but I'm sure it could be improved slightly.

Am having a tough few weeks with him in terms of tears and hitting himself because he thinks he has a bad brain. Just not sure how to help for the best.

We started about six months ago and I think there has been a difference. He sleeps much better and his attention and listening have improved alot. He is certainly no worse for it!

He has a diagnosis of asd not ADHD but he does have significant issues when it comes to attention etc.

IMO it's worth a try.
