could you please send my ds some good luck vibes for tomorrow. After 4.5 years of fighting, we have finally got an appointment for his statement assessment. Don't know what will happen if they refuse, can't even think that far ahead.

Good luck to you and yours for tomorrow.

Appeal their decision if it is refused.

With best wishes

I am a bit confused now. The appt was with the school health, forming the final part of his assessment as far as I know. The lady said that after reading up on my sons past referrals etc, that she was disgusted that it had been allowed to drag on for so long. She said that she is going to recommend that he has as much 1-1 as possible in an environment suited to his needs. She said that as he now has dx of ASD, they will not be able to refuse him a statement (in her opinion). We just have to wait now !!!!!!!!!!!
