DS has had a weighted blanket for about 2 years now, and he needs a new one as he is too heavy for the one we have.

Its a 2.5kg blanket, so suitable for a child under 3.5 stone.

I got it from Sensory Direct and its blue with cars on it.

I would be very interested please if it is still available. I currently have 2x 13.5 tog quilts on DS to help him sleep better! Would be very grateful and wHr has lots of sensory issues( amongst other things)ill pass it on herm he outgrows it. Please let me know how much and where to send £ for postage etc. Thanks so much for considering my DS.

I've never tried a weighted blanket with Toad. Can they be borrowed from anywhere to see if it helps with his anxiety?

Vagaceratops - i do see that its gone - but if for any reason the person doesn't take you up on it, I too would be really interested.

For anyone who missed out, you can make a weighted blanket, customised to your child's favourite design, for about £20 all in if you have a sewing machine.

Instructions here

Thanks for those instructions! Once I've returned our home to order now the Xmas holidays are over I'll crack on with making one. DS is 5 stone so needs a substantial blanket made up to fit his new dimensions Wink.
