Just got back from meeting with my solicitor to discuss pending Tribunal for SA.

AND LA HAVE BACKED DOWN AND AGREED!!!

Apparently LA were not happy with my EP report and wanted to correct inaccuries at a later date, but still.........

I can now take ds off role and HE until a plan is made to return him to education.

I am so happy, i even kissed the solicitor

Great news Claw - glad to see that common sense has prevailed!
You helped me out a lot a couple of years ago and your advice (and others here) enabled me to get my ds a SA, then a statement and now it looks like we've got an independent school place for him. I managed all this without tribunal and get so angry seeing what you, and lots of others, have to go through to get what your dc's need -it's a postcode lottery which is just so wrong.
I hope you and ds can take a little bit of time out now to enjoy yourselves and be stress free - at least until the next challenge comes along.
To everyone else - carry on fighting!

Following review of further evidence we agree to carry out SA.

They added they have concerns about EP report as it appears to be based solely on info from me and an interview with ds in his mothers presence, this has resulted in significant inaccuracies and they will comment once relevant personnel have been consulted.

They have no intention of making this easy.

I don't know what to say. I've been DYING to say for so long that I can't see how it can possibly go to tribunal but things have been so surreal with prevailing madness that none but people here would believe, I just didn't dare.

I saw your post earlier and shed a tear of happiness but wanted to catch up with you and your threads with a drink. So, here's to you, - and to us all.
