They set up/run programmes that use a mix of ABA/Son-Rise (!!) and Floortime. A friend used them and found them good.

I'm tempted because I want a mix of things at the moment to do part time. Am off to keel over at the cost :o Listen out for the sharp intake of breath.

oh it's actually quite cheap. £500 odd quid for 3 days. The word "recover" is making me cringe a bit though :o

I've got some friends who started with ABA and, as their DS got older and more developed, have been using Growing Minds and they are very pleased with them.

Oh that's interesting Davros thanks, I've printed out the registration form- think I may be going...... :) Oh I love an autism conference!

Must say, it looks fantastic. They seem really professional (no big cheesy grins and perfect teeth!) and sensible about different methods.

I've spoken to them before (when starting ABA) and they said I was better off getting local help than paying them to telephone supervise from afar, so they're honest too.
