I've just trawled MN for all my posts relating to DD2 since she was a toddler. I then used it to construct my document to take to her paed appointment on 2nd January.

7,000 words with timelines, quotes, milestones, notes of concerns at what age.

I'm going to need to pare it down, but I can say for sure 'yes, I was concerned at x age - I wrote about it on a parenting forum' Grin

I'm always recommending the SN board to people I meet on SN facebook pages. I wonder how many are here now...

I sometimes trawl to see how far dd1 has come!

of course, I know in real terms, but it is so easy to forget the minutiae - the everyday groundhogday-ness which can grind you down.

it is fascinating (and horrifying, sometimes) to read about where we used to be...
