Oh no SantyClaw x I am so sorry to read that you have lost your boy.

Have you got RL support? To help you through and help you with the service?

I am sending you a bear size hug to help carry you through but it seems so inadequate for this heart wrenching time xx

SantyClaWsBeardyHeed · 17/12/2012 01:43

To be honest this eve is the first chance I have had to get some time to myself and am glad of the peace and quiet because it has been constant visitors and calls in rl. I just want to get everything right and it feels like time has sped up or something. Keep just going and lying on his bed with his pet cat instead of getting on with funeral plans. It's like every minute that passes takes him further away from me.

I do know what you mean and sometimes I find this a good place to empty my head x

We cant feel what you are feeling but we can waffle in support as zzzzz has said.

Laying on his bed with the cat is a good source of comfort right now and it is needed. No one will ever take him further away from you. A mother holds her child in her heart forever the bond is always there and no one can take it away from you. Love is a very strong tie x

SantyClaWsBeardyHeed · 17/12/2012 02:06

that's a nice way to put it

MovingOnNow · 17/12/2012 08:11

Bless you. Like zzz I lost my dad recently, funeral is today but it is a very different kind of loss. Your post is heartbreaking, hope you come and chat again. I identify with the tiredness, I seem to be going through the motions and doing bare minimum, I'm so exhausted. Maybe you could start a support thread for yourself on the bereavements forum where you can chat when you feel like it. I'm not so good at talking about things in RL, it's the bit if the funeral I'm dreading. By the time I'm ready to talk everyone else will have moved on! Thinking of you today.

coff33andmintspies · 17/12/2012 08:43

I hope you had a good rest and young ds did not wake you too early x

Think of the food times today, what made him smile, what his favourite things were, what fun times you had together.

Use that close comfort of his bed to form a service of a celebration of your lovely little mans life x

He is sleeping peaceful and dreaming beautiful dreams as I am sure you filled is life with so much love and memories to see him through.

I will keep you in my thoughts today and send you another hug to keep you going x

coff33andmintspies · 17/12/2012 08:45
