Yes, that's where all 3 of mine did it.
It's expensive - but the fact I paid for it 3 times tells you I thought it was worth it.
All 3 of mine improved, and all in different ways.
DS1 (aspergers) almost stopped walking out of class after it. He went from walking out 5 times a day to walking out once a week.
Now I realise the noisy classroom was hurting his ears and stressing him - but I didn't know that before.
DD (severe dyslexia) started to learn to read (in Y3!) after it. Before that she couldn't hear well enough to make sense of phonics - again I had no idea.
And DS2 (dyspraxia) was just better behaved and better able to hear in class afterwards.
I have before and after audiograms for all 3 of them which also show how much their hearing has improved (less distorted) and hypersensitivity has been reduced (or in DDs case gone)
So, yes it's expensive. But if you can afford it SLC are brilliant. Pauline is very knowledgeable and one of the world experts in all this stuff.
