Cahms appointment finally through yay?

Who would have thought you could feel so elated at a pychiatrists appointment coming through. What should I expect? Am I likely to need more than one appointment to diagnose dd? what happens if one of the reports is not back by then? its two months away but I feel so nervous and anxious and elated at the same time.

I'm sorry - I don't know your background but glad you've finally got a date for your dd's appointment. We're just at the start of the diagnostic process and the waiting is so frustrating.

Thanks youme Dd awaiting autism diagnosis the waiting is hard but just to give you hope the cahms is near the end of the process and dd appointment will be within 6 months from the first referral although I know that can seem like a lifetime away, I hope yours is sorted as quickly.
