Went with DS (3years-GDD) to Brainwave today and he finally got a proper OT assesment - the NHS one he underwent was laughable. As I suspected, he has got motor planning issues and balance problems. Apparently the motor planning is executive, and all the issues effect not only his walking (after being told many times his walking is fine..), but also his field vision etc. They will create a programme of what to do, but cannot diagnose; should I pursue the diagnoses on NHS, is it worth it - for example regarding statement? Does the MSD co-morbid with GDD, or could it be the cause / main diagnoses? Just starting to properly look into it and quite confused.
