Am trying to find book to explain Christmas to DS - I know I am being lazy and should just give up and make one.
We had great success this year with the dentist thanks in part to Peppa Pig's Dentist Trip book
So I am looking for a book with no story, no imagination just the basics eg its cold, it might snow, we buy a tree, we decorate it, we decorate the house, we put presents under the tree, we wake up and open them, we eat turkey etc etc
Or any combination of the above. DS is 6, understanding level of 2-3 year old but happy with peppa pig, maisy, spot type books
Not in the least bit bothered about explaining Santa (we told the other boys early on it was all a lie and do not intend to even introduce the idea of Santa coming into the house to DS)
He's got the hang of advent calendars this year (thanks to the motivating chocolate) and so has grasped the idea 25th is Christmas Day but not what that means.
He quite enjoys reading books about things before he experiences them so am hoping there might be one out there ready made.
