Ds's SALT has just said that she wondered if ds has a social communication disorder. I asked her what she meant by it, and she said that most people thought of autism, but it encompasses lots of behavioural issues.
Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of things she means. I would have asked her, but ds was in the process of passing out in a pool of snot in my lap, after screaming and crying for a solid 20 minutes, whilst I was kept talking in another room. It has been quite a morning!
