Have seen an advert for staff for a newly built school here
Any ideas where it is? Have Googled to death and can't find any details at all.

Confused???

Tell us more leonie

placementseeker · 03/12/2012 20:57

Cheers Leonie. I thought Baskerville didn't look that new?? It's a secondary school and I haven't come across a Bloomsbury school anywhere. The ad says it's in South Birmingham so don't think it'll be Sutton Coldfield either.
Just seen this on Oscott manor website though - 'The school is heading towards a new era due to the Birmingham Special needs strategy for change, with effect from 2013 when it is anticipated that the school will be in a new school building on the Stockland Green site. The school will be changing its designation to ASD specific with effect from 1st September 2010 and will become an all age special school with effect from 2012 and will cater for students with ASD aged 2 to 19 years from 2013.'
Hmm, interesting. Our LA says they have an idea for a placement for ds so I'd best start researching.
Thanks a lot Smile

Marking my place in case anybody finds out for sure. However, I can't picture the LA opening a school / Res Base for children with HFA / Aspergers, when they are so desparately short of places for all specialist provision, can you ?
