refusing to touch things with fingertips.

dd2 has hurt her middle finger on her right hand. she is now refusing to touch things with her fingers but only with her right hand. its a teeny cut but she has insisited on a plaster, it happened about 5 days ago, so for 5 days she has had her hand hgeld at an odd angle.

NOt sure I can say anything that helps... DS was like this for several months but he was a toddler even when nothing had happened to him.

Would it help to try to make her do things with both hands in order to force her to see that nothing will happen? soemthing like taking her to the swings, etc?
