Went for dd1's 6 week post surgery check up and ONE grommet is gone already!!! Unfortunately it was the one in the ear that is not hearing so well. The consultant did not seem too bothered - saying well it had drained the fluid and done its job!!!!

I remember when my db had his done at age 6. He lost one very quickly too, and had to have it re done (glue ear)
it did the job!
Glad that dd's seen loads of draining though - hopefully fingers crossed it stays better!
