much better format to the ed rev. At the end of ours no action plan was drawn up and no needs acknowledged. They didn't go through the statement as apparently it's in the hands of the LA. So all in all no further forward.

Well that's depressing!

lol, now wondering what is the purpose of person centered planning? and how does it link into the statement? What happens when there are no actions to follow when clearly there should be?

It sounds awfully well intentioned, but doesn't seem to have got you any further, you'ld have thought the word "plan" was kind of a hint there should be a plan at the end of it!

exactly Light !!

I have another meeting next week, which was cancelled from the week before, if nothing comes from that I have already asked for another PCP eliminating all the unhelpful profs (ie, school).

Sounds about as far removed form person centred plan as you could get! Very frustrating. Who was running the meeting, devient?

one of the TA's from DS's special school facilitates the PCP, with him still being registered at the LA SS, even though he's HE by the LA, the school were still to do the statement review which involved the PCP, Pink
