Does anyone have a child with spd but not autism

My DD (10) has SPD but autism was ruled out. I was just wondering how common it was only to have SPD only.

My ds2 has sensory processing difficulties that are far more intrusive than his aspie brother's, and is not autistic. We haven't gone diagnosis route though so he isn't officially spd. My sister was the same, she would strip off naked constantly as a toddler and had a very high pain threshold and hyperactivity, but she is not autistic, in fact she's a social animal. My asperger sister didn't have the same level of sensory issues that I recall, but had great difficulty socially.

My DS has sensory problems (acknowledged by paed, but no dx to avoid 'labelling', though it's definitely SPD in my mind), but no dx of ASD. However, I am weighing up going back to discuss possible AS.

I have SPD myself, and I don't think I am on the spectrum (even though my aspie friend thinks I might be LOL!)

My DS has SPD - but that came off the back of a dx dyspraxia.
If you go on to the dyspraxia org website, and look at the symptoms for children, you might be surprised at how many are not classic physical related symptoms and crossover with some that would be classed as autistic traits.
