Am waiting for sm to be re-written and have to name a secondary school. Was advised to look at a local school and visited it but cannot see how it will meet ds's needs at all. Current Senco has now spoken to dh and mentioned that a dc with ds's condition goes there and is being managed very well 
.However, the Senco at the other school didn't know anything about the condition when questioned and we now have had it confirmed by a very reliable source that there are no known children in the county with the condition. Did they really think we would fall for that? Perhaps they thought we would just say ' ooh, that's good, we'll send him there'. You have to laugh really.
