...... because I looked like I needed it.
He is 11 with AS and never usually gets it.
Is something changing in his brain or am I looking that bad?

Don't worry about why he did it. Just enjoy that he did. Whether you look bad (and I'm sure you don't), he recognised either a) you needed a hug or b) he felt like giving you a hug. Wonderful. Smile

The "do I look that bad was tongue in cheek but there is no emoticom for that - (perhaps we need one) - although I am exhausted.

I was really touched though at his response - especially as he had just had a meltdown over a parcel which he is expecting that has not arrived.
