Can anyone point me in the right direction of an written authority as to Physical milestones 0-5?

Need to take on DS' physiotherapists complete inaction so it would be good have an idea of where he should be?

Try an early years education website. Physical development is part of the EYFS and you might find something to help you.

Otherwise google physical development chart and you should get something.

This is the one that was on the reading list for an advanced peadiatric treatment course for OTs/PTs/SaLTs.
It's very clear, written in layperson's language.

When I was doing my NNEB we used Mary Sheridan 'From Birth To Five Years' - it was our bible! It has developmental miles stones for physical, social and play, vision and fine motor, posture and gross motor, and hearing/communication. I still use it a lot both for my own SEN child and for children I work with. I'm not sure if its still in print but you could look on amazon?

mycar was also going to mention Mary from my NNEB days, tell you what PILES come in great for filling out the DLA lol Wink

I hated the fact we had to know this book off by heart at the time, bloody glad I do now, only wish it wasn't for these reasons though!
