Seamless socks, recommendations?

For 8yo DS, size 2 (ish).
Lots of sellers online but I don't know which are decent quality. I would prefer soft cotton like socks, nothing nylon-like.

These are quite expensive, I think, and they don't appear to be available in adult size 2 in UK.

These are "cheap" but are they reasonably durable?

TIA.

Ooh, ooh, thanks for the tip about tubes & heels. DS other peeve is socks that slip down.

PolterGoose, could you link to exactly which SockShop items you bought & liked? They seem to have more than one option. Mega-thanks.

Think Fledglings also do seamless socks. No heels etc. Quite expensive though, but thats the norm!
