At almost 31 months, DD (with Down's) has finally taken her first steps unaided this week, I am so incredibly proud of her! Smile.

Now she's worked it out there is no stopping her, she's been hurling herself between the sofas for the past few days, giggling and clapping herself as she goes....

Thanks everyone! Smile

RumBaaBaa - I can sympathise, we have spent hundred of hours doing her standing exercises & she's been wearing her piedros for a year and a half, but it's all been worth it just to see her smile when she finally did it!

Well done to your dd Grin

Ds was also around the same age when he started walking. Was very surreal to see ds walk at first...I even missed the bum shuffling. It opened a whole new level of mischief aswell!!

Yeah brilliant news!!! When our ds1 stood up in the middle of his bedroom and walked to me at bath time I screamed, ran to phone dh who thought that something dreadful had happened!!!! Then bathed him and his little brother (who started walking the month before) put them to bed convinced he would never do it again. From then on in they have been a little tag-team!!!!

There will be no stopping her now!!!
