DS age 11 has been through so much in last year, he has severe autism, GDD, low muscle tone, pica. Not been school from nov 11 due to severe anxiety. From jan to mid aug went each day yorkhill hospital, glasgow, mon to fri, then from mid august until now 10 weeks he been in specialist hospital for reassessment. The specialist hospital is 3 hours drive each way so i only see him few days a week, he is home for the weekend at the moment. He is non verbal but has been lying on sofa half draped over me for last half hour and keeps kissing me constant on the lips, this is quite new. He is such a little darling and is my whole world. Just wonder what goes on in his head, what all the kisses are for. So happy that for first time in a long time he seems very happy and content and is so relaxed and chilled. Never before has he sat down for more than a minute. It is brilliant to see him this happy, hope it lasts. :) x

Sooooo lovely. DS4 will now give kisses if I ask. I cheer when he does and he looks very pleased with himself.
It's just those little connections with him that just seem to be the most important things in the world to me, and I know you feel the same Shazian. Smile

That's lovely. Smile I used to call DS2 my fox fur as he was always draped across my shoulders, but at 13 he's now too big. Sad I hope the hospital are getting to the bottom of things.
