His statement has been to 5 LA's as well as ours with not much positive response, we do have a home tutor 15 hours per week provided by the LA and we are now awaiting another meeting. Yes justa hopefully not for much longer.

I just don't see how they can not allow private now, as clearly nothing locally in state sector can meet his needs.

We exhausted all LEA provision & then outr LEA really started to drag their feet. I approached a solicitor, very well known to my LEA.

2months later ds was offered a place at an independant school.
