Now I am one. The next thread for Beatrice.

So, Beatrice is now 13 months old and developing slowly but surely. She brings joy to everyone she meets and makes my heart swell with pride.

At the moment, she is very poorly in hospital. She appears to have overcome pneumonia, but the remaining secretions are causing her huge problems. Her airway blocks at random with a mucous plug and she has had to be revived with a bag and mask 3 times in the past 24 hours. Naturally, I am in a permanent state of anxiety at the moment. I just want Beatrice home again. We have so many more memories to make.

Please spare a thought for Beatrice's sisters if you can- they too are poorly with a sickness bug and all they really want right now is cuddles with Mummy.

Life is tough right now, but nobody said it would be easy...

Cup, I am so, so sorry to read that Beatrice has gone. She was a remarkable and gorgeous little girl, who put so much energy into living, smiling her beautiful smile and being loved by her family. I wish I could do or say something to make this less painful. I know that Beatrice knew every second of her life that she was special and beloved, and she radiated that back in the joy she gave to so many people. I'll never forget her and the story of her courage.

I am sorry, CoT. The candle that burns most bright often burns too fast, and her burned so bright she touched people the world over. How many of us can say that, no matter how many years we have on this earth?

Oh God I am so sorry. I read the thread when she came into this world and it is so wrong to be reading this one to say she has left it. My heart goes out to you and to al your family, it is heartbreaking. Just so sad that she isn't with you here anymore x

I have followed your story since Beatrice was born. Thank you so much for sharing her with us. She was so obviously loved by all her family, you are a wonderful mother and she was a wonderful, little girl who taught many of us so much. Lots of love to you, Mr Cup and your big girls.
