does give some idea of how fab it is though.

ds1 does go out of his depth, but that's because he knows the surfers really well now and they know him.

Wow that's fabulous!!

I met someone who taught scuba diving in a pool to kids with autism. She said it was amazing. Trying to get her to start up another class so ds can go.

I think scuba diving would be a bit beyond ds1, but if it happens let me know ohmeohmy and I'll mention it on my blog.

It is so fabulous babiki - has been life changing for ds1.

If anyone wants to give it a go just get in contact, I might be able to recommend someone near you. Or have a look at Surf Relief- they have a network of surf schools who offer surfing to those with disabilities.

No need to swim :) And they won't make him wear a buoyancy aid.

Bigbury isn't that far from Somerset. They're a really great bunch. The advantage of Bigbury is that it's a shallow beach, and south coast so the waves are usually not as strong as the north coat.
