Thanks Whatthe. Mmmm, chocolate...

moosemama · 21/09/2012 19:13

ELLEN! Shock You have a very dirty mind. Grin

Whatthe, your house is definitely the place to be for chocaholics this evening.

So, we have Galaxy and Dairy Milk - what shall I ask dh for. I reckon a big bag of Revels and some Galaxy Cookie Crumble - or some Lindor?

Badvoc · 21/09/2012 19:17

Ellen you saucebox! :)
Reading it back it does scan quite badly doesn't it?
Oh, not revels, I bet I would get the coffee one....bluergh....

moosemama · 21/09/2012 19:26

Yes, but you might get the toffee one. Wink

Badvoc · 21/09/2012 19:30

(Shakes head)
Moose, moose, moose!....the chocolate peanuts and raisins are the best.
This should not need pointing out :)
Closely followed by the chocolate discs.
The orange ones are pretty vile too now I think about it...
Hmmm...am musing now...
If I could choose a choc bar right now it would be a biscuit boost....slobber...

moosemama · 21/09/2012 19:31

Nah, peanuts and raisins are definitely second to toffees - fact!

signandsmile · 21/09/2012 19:32

Hi all, see the chocolate and inuendo has started already, count me in Grin Grin... sorry to hear about the crappy weeks and ill dc's and wider family Sad.

for those of you who honked for me about dh, an update; we are now changing round the house to suit ALL of us better, ds is excited about moving into 'my' room, altho I am not sure he is clear that I won't be in it anymore... Hmm. I am off on a huge spend at ikea... (he he he, sign cackles slightly manically) and dh should, in theory, be able to move arouns easier and rest better.

and I am off next to butlins, (a newly shortened visit, as I don't think ds and dh would cope, but I am still going, YIPPEE!!!) I have all the back up and back to the back up set up, and all meals and uniforms prepared... and I will be flolloping with glorious abandon... Grin Grin

signandsmile · 21/09/2012 19:33

sorry that should be next week to butlins

hazeyjane · 21/09/2012 19:38

Hello, coming in with some Daim Milka (if you have never had this, you have to find some - NOW!)

Had an up and down week of stupid 3 hour meetings with ot + physio, and our new, 'lets get ds to stay with a keyworker whilst Hazey leaves the room' experiment (Hazey returns after 2 minutes, then 3 minutes etc - it is, hmm, traumatic!) On the upside we had a lovely hydrotherapy session (our first), it was lovely and despite ds screaming for the first 10 mins because the physio touched him, he absolutely loved the rest of the session, and the other people seemed nice, although I had the whole, feeling very awkward with new people thing.

Sorry to hear of the tough times that some are having. Hopefully a healthy dose of chocolate and wine will soothe everyone's tired hearts. (SilkStalkings, you have hit the nail on the head with the phrase, 'tired in the heart', nearly bought a tear to my eye!)

Badvoc · 21/09/2012 19:40

Erm...what is flollopping?
Whatever it is I want to do it....!

Imogen...the house on the border sounds fab! Go for it!! 2 years will fly by and it will give you some breathing space and get your dd out of that awful place :(
X

Badvoc · 21/09/2012 19:45

Hazey, I lurve Daim Milka. I used to treat myself to a bar every time I had the monthly shop delivered before I started losing weight. Blush

Imogen, sounds like things continue to be hard, but there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel. Cottage sounds lovely.

Mmmm profiteroles.

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 21/09/2012 20:01

Flolloping here, too. It really needs a nice comfy water bed, IMHO. Grin I was sick of the virtual chocolate talk and went via the Londis after taking DS3's playdate home. One tube of Cadbury's Chocos later I feel slightly sick and a bit guilty...

moosemama · 21/09/2012 20:05

I am still chocolate-less. Harrumph!

Shouldn't complain though, as dh has done tea and the bedtime routines. He's just getting dd off to sleep and says he'll then go to the shop.

It seems there are advantages to having to spend extended periods of time lying on the sofa with your foot propped up on cushions. Grin

whatthewhatthebleep · 21/09/2012 20:05

oh choc peanuts are sooooo good...ages since I had these...eat whole bag in one sitting.....moooooooorrrriiissshhhhhh....very!!!!

Always choc in our house...mostly because neither of us are that bothered for it...it collects in the cupboard and fridge
I'm a binger...go weeks without and then just stuff my face on a whim with the stuff!!!

I should have a choc party...there's loads for everyone! Grin

AgnesDiPesto · 21/09/2012 20:06

No chocolate here Sad but on second glass of Wine.
Another (rare) good week here. DS loving year 1, probably the only child in the class who prefers the more structured work to the chaotic free play of last year. After a year of struggling with carpet time, now they are doing phonics, spellings and writing letters he is choosing extra carpet time as reinforcement Grin so he can do more. His new teacher foolishly invited him up to write the letter 'c' on the board only for him to wipe it off a few times until he perfected it and then proceeded to wipe off other children's letters as they weren't quite right either until she eventually said 'last time DS' and prised the pen off him Grin. The whole class have a set of rules which are completely borrowed from DS programme - so now the whole class have to have 'cool hands on the carpet' with DS being the shining example (because he has been practising this for weeks already). How fab is that the whole class is being ABA'd!
Good pre AR meeting with school too - agreed to share reports in draft to fend off the inevitable LA challenge, so feel happy school be less of an unknown quantity loose cannon than last year's review.

whatthewhatthebleep · 21/09/2012 20:07

flolloping is exactly what I need.......pops another pain killer for stonking head and a piece of choc to chase it down....

Badvoc · 21/09/2012 20:07

I am sat here watching Alan partridge DVDs...so funny!
"Dr pepper? It's like fizzy benylin!"
:)
Genius

moosemama · 21/09/2012 20:08

I daren't keep chocolate in the house Whatthe. I just can't leave it if I know it's there. The only thing that survives is the kids gifty stuff. We still have dd's chocolate reindeer in the fridge and I can restrain myself from raiding their Easter Eggs, but anything less important, like the odd packet of chocolate buttons is in mortal danger in this house! Grin Blush

moosemama · 21/09/2012 20:12

Agnes, lovely to hear things are going so well. Fantastic that the whole class is adopting ds's rules as well. Grin

whatthewhatthebleep · 21/09/2012 20:15

wish I had some vodka in though....could use a few of these and some rockin out with cd's on...singular karaoke party.... Grin
DS would not approve though...I'd be upsetting him too much so it's not a good idea...
He's probably right and the neighbours would probably agree too!!

Oh well...

Badvoc · 21/09/2012 20:16

Agnes...fantastic :)
