How do you work on the working doc? Is it usually done in writing/via email? Or do you meet the LA and prepare the working document in a meeting with the LA?

we've always done it in writing. got them to send an electronic version and then amended it and sent it back But our LA are not known for co-operating in meetings.

I scanned the original proposed statement and converted it to word, then made amendments using track changes nd sent it back to them.
The eventually e-mailed and electronic document just before appeal in response to look like they were co-operating, and we finally got somewhere. It was SLOW though.

Ask the LA to send you a working copy of the statement that you can work on in word?

thank you all. that is what I plan.

LA are putting gently pressure on me for a meeting to create a working document and I wondered if doing it via email forth and back would be reasonable. appears email is the more usual way to do this.
