dd's latest salt report shows no movement in some areas. she's 11, but 3 areas have her at 4yr 6months, 5yr 5 months and 6yr 7 months. I just want to cry, so depressed.

Know how you feel DS is 12 and we have moved him to a S&L resourced unit during Y7. He is much happier. I can't say I've seen massive improvements in academic areas, but he is much happier asking questions and saying he doesn't understand. Before we moved him he would just smile as if he completely understood, which we knew he didn't.

Hope someone can help with details of a school in your area.

dd's levels range from p8 - level 1a. she still has mental blocks in her learning,ie counting on from a given number lots of things her 2 brothers and other children learn easily.
