Is there any legal stuff on this or are they allowed? Basically got called into a meeting about something else last term and they tried to get me to agree to remove my daughters school transport and reduce some provision and they are trying to get me in again in the next week or so for the same thing and tried the same angle again about it being about therapy when really its about the same as last term which I know becauise the senco has said as much when questioned further. Transition year 9 review not due until end of April 2013 and nothing has changed from my daughters POV or mine that would require any changes.

Not unless they officially call an early review of the statement. Then they'd have to evidence it, etc.

Thanks Lougle thought it was very dodgy!

no - completetly against the code of practice - thats the whole point of the statement - it can not be amended except following an annual review then its the lea who ultimately decided otherwise an early review will have to be called. works the other way as well if you want to get more stuff put into the statement - you will need to do it as part of a statement review
