Cupofteaplease's Bea is ONE today!

I just wanted to share the wonderful news that baby Bea is One year old today! She has touched the lives of all of us, who have been following Cup's threads about her beautiful Beatrice. I am sure that all of you Mumsnetters would like to wish Bea a very happy FIRST birthday. X

Thank you SallyBear and all of you! [Smile] Beatrice is, indeed, one today! We are currently on our way home from a fundraiser we attended yesterday. We are going to have lunch at Carluccio's (my choice!), then onto the pub for a get together with family and friends.

I'm feeling a bit low (weird?), but hoping to cheer up when I see everyone later. I think it's just been a loooong journey, and this day seemed like such an unobtainable milestone, that actually getting here is emotional in so many ways.

God continue to bless Beatrice, and let's get ready to fight on for another year! I couldn't have done it without the wonderful support of old friends and new- yes I'm looking at you bobloblaw and SallyBear Wink

(If it's any consolation cup I went a bit peculiar when DD2 turned 1 and needed the happy pills, there's a strange sensation of wanting to celebrate the first birthday of a child that by all rights shouldn't really be here, but feeling low at the anniversary of what has been and what is to come. If that makes any sort of sense! Be kind to yourself - and eat lots of cake!)
