My DS has came home with the news that he is on the school council for his class, but best of all.. He was VOTED in! He's in Y3, new school, new class, (but connected to the infant school he was at so lots of familiar faces).

I'm so pleased and proud! He had to make a 'vote for me' poster which he did with DH last weekend. He then read his poster out and explained why he should be voted in. He always seem happy at school but I have wondered if he is really accepted in spite of his disabilities. I guess I have my answer!
