I can't go but interested in the debate. Can you post a summary afterwards or will it be recorded?

ioe and autism really shouldn't occur together. Thy don't believe in education for people with autism.

UnChartered · 12/09/2012 15:05

what Star said

IME they don't even believe it exists

bochead · 12/09/2012 15:16

I'm with Star on this one. Disapointed G. Baird has agreed to be a part of it tbh for personal reasons.

oodlesofdoodles · 12/09/2012 15:23

What's the story on IoE and autism?

StarlightMcKenzie · 12/09/2012 15:37

Still might go though. AAA are going and G Baird. Might be worth having a listen. There's a small chance I might not want to slit my throat afterwards.

Have to say I didn't know of any dodginess around the IoE's attitude towards autism either. I liked the look of the speakers.

I'd really like to go to this if anyone else is up for it - perhaps we could grab a coffee beforehand?

StarlightMcKenzie · 15/09/2012 22:11

I'm struggling with childcare but if I can work it out then I'll try and go.

Would be interested in this too. What is the issue with IOE Star?
