Waiting for comm paed report?

Nothing this morning in the post and so I phoned the LEA who told me they are waiting for the comm paed report. Paed's sec not available til tomorrow and the person who I spoke to was apparently unable to look in DS's file to tell me if the report had been submitted. How long does communication between the NHS and LEA take and are the LEA 'allowed' to miss deadlines?

They shouldn't miss deadlines and should have hastened the Paed for the report themselves.

But you did the right thing in contacting the Paed and chasing it up.
