Tribunal - how long before they notify lea?

Trying to be tactical here. Lea issued final statement on 24/7 so got until 24/9 - sat here writing my reasons of appeal and amendments I want - 15 pages so far plus over 200 pages of evidence - appealing parts 2 3 and 4. Whether this goes to tribunal in reality will depend on their OT report. She is seeing him on Thursday and will speak to me on Monday. She met him last week and she agrees with our OT report and saw lots of stuff with him do I'm hoping the lea will back down once they get it but I can't rely on that. Current head has been told my lea they are hoping he will be moved to my school choice by mid oct but none of this has been said to me or is in writing so I can rely on hearsay.

Anyway my plan is to send the paperwork to the tribunal tomorrow special delivery so tribunal will get thm on thurs. I know they have 10 days to register the appeal but I was wondering how long it takes in reality - a few days or is it really likely to be 10 days?????

I'm sure mine was before 10 days.

a friend who works for the LA told me that it takes about 2 weeks for the to get notified of an appeal.

we appealed recently and got an acknowledgement about 2 weeks after sending the appeal in.

In my experience the LA take the maximum amount of time allowed and are often late with deadlines. The tribunal will allow them to be late and they are not in reality penalised for being late.
