DLA letter

Just wondered if anyone knew if this has any significance...?

Just applied - about 4 weeks ago - for dla for my 2 dcs (hearing loss for both and poss asd for ds too). Got the confirmation that they'd received the apps letter and then today a letter about if i get dla, I'm the responsible appointed person and have to declare changes etc. Just wondered if everyone gets that or just people who are going to get awarded something . Any experience of this?

I received one of those letters and then DS was awarded DLA about a week later

I got it and the following Tuesday money went in my account but my sis got it and she got refused it. I think it's triggered when the claim has been processed so you slight hear soon.
